Ms. nishmet // Assistant Teacher
Favorite Color: Pink
Hobbies: Reading, Cooking, Baking, Hiking
Favorite Childhood Memory: When I was eight years old my parents took us on a surprise trip to Disneyland. They had us guessing the whole way there where we were going. I remember the excitement we felt when we finally realized it was Disneyland.
My Vision of the Child: When children let their imaginations run wild and have to freedom to be themselves, they learn tremendously; consequently teaching us so much about their perspective of the world. Furthermore, I consider that providing an open and nurturing environment is crucial for their development. At this point in time, their brains are malleable and adaptable; they’re little sponges that absorb everything that surrounds them. Therefore, treating everyone with kindness and empathy will teach them meaningful values.
Bio: My name is Nishmet, I am twenty four years old. I was born in San Diego but grew up In Mexicali, Baja California. I am the oldest of three sisters, so a part of me has always been very protective and caring of them. I have always felt a special connection to children which is one of the reasons I decided to become a teacher. I am very excited about this incredible opportunity and I am looking forward to learning and growing along with the children and the team at Little Sprouts.
