Favorite Childhood Memory: Traveling internationally with my family and beach days!

My Vision of the Child: My desire as a teacher is to facilitate learning with each child through careful observation and free play. I want to show each child that they are special and that we are listening to them and trying to meet their needs. My hope is for them to discover the joy of learning.

Bio: I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. However, I was raised in Morocco, North Africa with my family and older siblings. I was homeschooled by my parents until I graduated high school. After high school, I decided to move across the world to San Diego to start a new life adventure in 2009. I have been attending San Diego City College for the past few years to obtain my Teacher permit and Associates Degree in Child Development. I have spent the last 5 years at San Diego City College Child Development Center working as a Teacher’s assistant. I gained an immense amount of hands on work experience from my time there and I’m very excited and ready to start my new position as a Pre-K teacher at Little Sprouts.
