ms. Ginger // Director

Ginger is very excited to be a part of your child’s learning and growth at Little Sprouts Academy. She is originally from Northern California, where she lived on a little island called Alameda near Oakland and San Francisco. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, cooking, playing games, and spending time with friends and family (including her pet bunny).
Ginger moved to San Diego about 10 years ago to attend college at UCSD. As an undergraduate she majored in Psychology and minored in Education Studies. She continued her education at UCSD for graduate studies in Education and attained a Masters Degree in Education along with her California Teaching Credential in July of 2009. She has had the pleasure of working with a diverse age group of children (from prekindergarten to 5th grade) as their mentor, classroom teacher assistant, and student teacher in the San Diego Unified and El Cajon Unified School Districts.
Ginger’s philosophy for learning is that each child is unique, and each child learns in a different way. As a teacher, she wants to help each child discover and explore his or her individuality and provide them valuable and enjoyable learning experiences. She believes in hands-on & kinesthetic activities as well as learning to be a creative individual through play. She is really looking forward to a fun–filled and educational year with your child and she can’t wait to spend more time getting to know your children and their wonderful families!
